Professional Responsibilities and Activities:

Research:
  • Physiological responses of plants to insect injury, especially photosynthetic responses in natural and cultivated systems
  • Conservation, ecophysiology, and population biology of tiger beetles
  • Forensic entomology
  • Pest management decision making
Teaching:
  • Insects, Science, and Society - undergraduate; also taught annually to high school students in the Lincoln Public Schools Science Focus Program
  • Forensic Entomology
  • Senior Faculty Consultant for the Undergraduate Online Degree Completion program in the Office of Extended Education.
