Research:
- Current research focus is on the biology, ecology, and management of Diabrotica species particularly in field corn. Specific areas of emphasis include: western corn rootworm behavior and population dynamics; phylogeny and population structure of the genus Diabrotica; western corn rootworm resistance to insecticides in Nebraska including gene flow among populations; native and transgenic plant resistance to Diabrotica spp. including resistance management.
