ü       March 2000 – June 2001.  DuPont do Brazil S.A., Uberlândia, Minas Gerais State/ Brazil.  Research and Development representative, working with tomato, soybean, cabbage, corn, cotton, and coffee crops, mainly conducing efficacy field trials of the insecticides indoxacarb and its competitors on the main crop pests, as well as herbicides and fungicides trials.  Development of susceptibility baseline data for indoxacarb resistance management program for Spodoptera frugiperda and Heliothis virescens in cotton, Tuta absoluta in tomato, and Plutella xylostela in cabbage.

ü       July 1999 – March 2000.  DuPont do Brazil S.A. in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso State/ Brazil.  Marketing Team representative, working as a technical assistant, supervising soybean and cotton fields in which DuPont pesticides were applied (insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides).  Supervising four cotton research fields sprayed with indoxacarb for the evaluation of its efficacy in the control of Spodoptera frugiperda, Heliothis virescens, and Alabama argilacea, prior to its launching in the market.

ü       March – May 1999.  Kleffmann & Partner.  Field researches of agricultural marketing importance, related to soybean and corn in the states of Paraná, Goiás, and Mato Grosso do Sul/ Brazil.

ü       August 1997 – December 1998.  CEPEA (Center of Advanced Studies of Applied Economy) Internship. Co-responsible by the project "Boletim do Leite" (Dairy Bulletin), a monthly publication related to the dairy cattle sector with 6,000 copies per month.  Main activities: writing and providing technical and published texts; development of technical project budget assessment related to dairy cattle production/management; marketing supervision, and contacting companies of dairy sector.

ü       Jan. 1996 – Aug. 1997.  CPZ (Animal Science Internship).  Development of general activities related to management systems of dairy and beef cattle, and dairy goat farming.  Corn, tropical grass, sugar cane, and hay production and management, calves’ management, milking, and farm machinery maintenance.
