Insecticides for Soil Cutworm Control in Sorghum

Economic Threshold:
Treat when 5% of plants are damaged or cut, and larvae are less than 1 inch long.
Cutworms longer than one inch are likely to pupate (i.e. cease feeding) before causing significant additional damage.

Do not treat sweet varieties of sorghum.

3 R Asana XL 0.66 EC esfenvalerate 5.8 - 9.6 fl oz Apply by ground or air equipment. Do not exceed 0.15 lb./acre/season. Do not apply within 21 days of harvest. This use pattern may not appear on the federal label. See supplemental labeling EPA reg. #353-515 issued in 1998.
