Entomology Hall Renovations

1) Lab room 104
Work in the lab is expected to be completed by August 6. Plans are to cut the second door on July 4. We have a great crew to come in on a holiday to lessen the disturbance to us. The wall is 18.5” of solid stone. Cutting through it will be noisy and dirty.

2) Third floor
The construction schedule has slipped and work is a little behind.

Ceiling grids are about 50% completed and some of the case work is in. The rooms are beginning to look like labs! Casework is expected to be complete this weekend.

Delivery of the fume hoods has been delayed but they should arrive soon.

3) Roof
The roofing project is almost complete.

4) Basement
We will need to temporarily move some storage to allow piping to be installed in rooms 5a and 6.
