Entomology Hall Renovations

Construction News
21 May 2009

Overall, the contractors are ahead of schedule.

Drywall, taping, and finishing will be completed this week and painting will begin next week.

The pipes in the 2nd floor stairwell WILL BE boxed in. This good news courtesy of the Fire Marshall and is a change from the previous order.

Work in the first floor lab will start June 3.

Everything seems to be set for installation of the second autoclave.

There will be a general power shut outage in the building in 2-3 weeks.

The roofing project will start the week of May 25 and take about 20 days to complete, not counting weather delays. On May 27 (and again a week to ten days later) there will be a crane out front to lift material to the roof.
