Bee Lab Benefit at ZipLine
In order to create beer, an essential ingredient is grain. Bees are an important part of a plants reproductive cycle. Without bees, we would have no grain. Without grain, we would have no beer!
Okay. Don’t everyone panic at once.
UNL Bee Lab is working on ways to increase the bee populations, honey production, and beekeeper success in the state of Nebraska. To help them with their mission, Zipline will be donating a portion of sales during Brews & Bees to the Bee Lab.
Our brewers will be creating unique flavor combinations using local honey in cask beer. Learn how to build bee “hotels” using natural materials and take-home free seed to plant your own pollination garden. There will be plenty of hands on activities for the entire family. Muchachos has created specialty items made with local honey for their menu during the event.
We hope to see you there!
