Insecticide Treatment Options for Cutworms in Field Corn

Updated February 15, 2017

Economic Threshold:
Treat when 5% of plants are damaged or cut, and larvae are less than 1 inch long. Cutworms longer than one inch are likely to pupate (i.e. cease feeding) before causing significant additional damage.

Go to https://www.greenbook.net or other resource for additional registrations.
*Consult product label for specific information and restrictions.

Note: Pre-emergence or planting time applications are not generally recommended for cutworm control in field corn in Nebraska.
