Professional Responsibilities and Activities

  • - Develop and deliver educational programs and resources to support Nebraska Extension’s statewide issue teams.
    - Provide state-wide, regional, and national leadership in developing rapid and innovative insect diagnostics.
    - Train extension personnel, UNL students, faculty, and staff, and other professionals in new insect diagnostic technologies.
    - Lead and innovate Nebraska’s identification, surveillance, and mapping of invasive and threatening arthropod species, especially those of economic importance.
    - Engage Nebraskans and others in citizen science projects focused on invasive species topics.
