Insect Science majors named to the Dean's List

Nine Insect Science majors were named to the Dean's List following the spring 2022 semester at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). The Insect Science degree is in the UNL College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) under the leadership of Dean Tiffany Heng-Moss.

To be on the CASNR Dean's List, students must of earned a 3.75 out of 4.0 Grade Point Average with a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students with double majors may be on a dean's list for more than one UNL college. 

The honorees are:

  • Carolyn Almonte, junior Insect Science major, Burlington, NJ;
  • Victoria DeAngelis, junior Insect Science and Forensic Science dual major, Macomb, MI;
  • Bennett Grapone, senior Insect Science and Microbiology (College of Arts & Sciences) dual major, Los Angeles, CA;
  • Skyler Gubbels, senior Insect Science and Biological Sciences (College of Arts & Sciences) dual major, Norfolk, NE;
  • Nia Kaufmann, freshman Insect Science major, Bennington, NE;
  • Samantha Kiever, junior Insect Science major, Brownsburg, IN;
  • Clara O'Brien, freshman Insect Science major,  Chestertown, MD;
  • Emmi Smith, senior Insect Science and Forensic Science dual major, Woodbury, MN;
  • Sam Spencer, freshman Insect Science major, Bedford, NH;
