About
Mritunjoy Barman is a motivated scientist with over 7 years of experience in the applied field of Entomology and advanced molecular biology, specializing in virus-vector interactions. Mritunjoy has conducted extensive research on whitefly-transmitted begomoviruses (Geminiviridae) and is currently focusing on Wheat Curl Mite (WCM), Aceria tosichella, and Aphid-transmitted plant viruses in Nebraska, supported by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
