UNL promotes Bradshaw, Wu-Smart in 2022

Congratulations to entomologists Drs. Jeff Bradshaw and Judy Wu-Smart who were recently promoted! 

Dr. Jeff BradshawBradshaw was promoted to full professor and is currently located at the Panhandle Research, Extension & Education Center (PHREEC) in Scottsbluff. He is interested in applied ecology, host-plant resistance, and biological control of insects. He received the UNL Innovative Extension Specialist award in 2016. Bradshaw earned his Ph.D. in Entomology and Plant Pathology from Iowa State University in 2007. 

Dr. Judy Wu-SmartWu-Smart was promoted to associate professor. She currently leads the UNL Bee Lab, which pursues research questions and provides extension programming to better understand stressors impacting pollinator health. Her research areas include Insect Ecology, Insecticide/Environmental Toxicology, and Pollinator Health. Wu-Smart earned her Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Minnesota in 2015.
