Below is a table listing the general activities to be completed on a weekly basis in Entomology 887 and ENTO 888. Students are allowed 4 semesters (summer sessions are counted as one semester) to complete their projects including the semester in which they are enrolled for Entomology 888 (but should aim for 3). All M.S. projects must be submitted 5 weeks before the end of the semester in which the student wishes to receive a grade, unless you are graduating that semester.

Note for graduating students: If finishing your M.S. Project during the semester you plan to graduate, note that your M.S. Project must be completed THREE WEEKS prior to the due date for Final Exam Reports for that semester. You can find out the date of the Final Exam Reports on the M.S. Milestones page from Graduate Studies: https://www.unl.edu/gradstudies/current/degrees/masters. The Final Exam Reports include paperwork that online M.S. advisors fill out to ensure graduation for the semester, so if the M.S. project is not completed early enough, it will postpone your graduation until the next semester. Also, the M.S. Project Committee needs time to review and approve final M.S. Projects before the paperwork can be done.
